CODE OF CONDUCT
The purpose of this code of ethical conduct is:
- To clarify the broader general principles and values that our coaches endorse.
These include confidentiality and the utmost concern for the well-being and success of the customer.
- Provide general rules of conduct that apply to several specific situations that a
coach may encounter.
1. Applicability of the code of ethics.
The code of conduct has been drawn up for coaches active in the Life field
Coaching and Coaching around Stress & Burnout in the broadest sense of the word. They also include
coaches who give themselves a different title, but who are active in coaching around Life, Stress or
Burnout themes. Examples can be: 'positive coaches', 'life coaches',
"therapeutic coaches", "motivation coaches", and so on.
This Code of Ethics essentially consists of a set of agreements that prescribe the minimum standards that members must observe. The code is meant to be observed in the spirit and not just by the written word.
The activity of a coach that falls under the ethical code can only be done according to these ethical standards
be assessed if the activity is part of his or her coaching work-related functions.
2. General provisions
Trust and responsibility are basic concepts in coaching. It is expected that
coaches always act with integrity towards their customers, their colleagues and themselves.
Coaches only provide services within the limits of their competence, based on their

for which they have sufficient competences.
Coaches strive to continuously train themselves and to continue to learn, in order to remain sufficient

3. Within the coach relationship
Coaches always try to make communication with their clients as clear as possible. For this

relationships would create a risk of conflict of interest.
If a coach finds that, due to unforeseen factors, there is a potential conflict of interest
the coach tries to solve this, taking into account the best interests of the
affected person and compliance with the code of ethics.
4. Data management
Coaches act in accordance with privacy legislation when processing and storing the personal data
data of their clients.
5. Fees and financial arrangements.
As soon as possible in the relationship between the coach and the client, the coach and the client achieve one
agreement in which the client's compensation and reimbursements are made to the coach

6. Publicity

if they believe they recognize situations in which clients may endanger their own safety or well-being
or the safety or well-being of others.
Coaches never attempt to diagnose a mental health problem. Coaches are
aware that they have no authority to make medical or psychological diagnoses
and refrain from any assessment or advice in this area.
Coaches always put the well-being of the client first.
Coaches recognize that a coach journey never involves psychotherapy, or psychological counseling

8. Termination of the coaching relationship.
Coach relationships should be ended when:

All information obtained in the context of the professional service is confidential unless there

coaches themselves, to the best of their ability, to judge the amount of information released.
Coaches will not discuss confidential information in any setting unless privacy can become

Coaches discuss confidential information only for appropriate professional, consultative or
scientific purposes and only with persons who are clearly concerned with such matters

Coaches maintain the confidentiality of information communicated by it

PhilipWuytsCoaching processes your personal data to contact you by telephone if you request it and / or to be able to approach it in writing (by e-mail or by post) if you cannot be reached by telephone and / or in the context of executing a contract for services concluded with you.
